Turn your bathroom into a chic retreat with beautiful wooden interiors, quality towels and organic-inspired accessories. Adding wire accents to cosy corners is a great way to create a rustic feel, the raw metal and unusual shaping creates a country chic vibe.
The Cartshed, Wilderness Reserve in Suffolk
Wilderness Reserve’s 4,500 acres has been developed by Foxton’s founder Jon Hunt, who has planted more than 800,000 trees, put in lakes and meadows and turned existing houses on the private estate into luxury accommodation. This welcoming bathroom, with its luxurious copper bathtub, original exposed beams and colour pop upholstered chair, is in The Cartshed, a timber framed barn built in the 19th century.

The Fish, The Cotswolds
The en suites in this cosy boutique country hotel have been designed by bathroom specialist Ripples in a traditional yet contemporary style, with easy access for the less physically able. The rooms are planned so the traditional basin, on a finely tapered chrome stand, is the first thing you see upon entering. Wood panelling lends a fresh, rustic feel.

La Sultana Oualidia, Morocco
Situated by a peaceful lagoon on the Atlantic coast of Morocco, this hotel consists of 12 individually designed suites, each making the most of the hotel’s stunning views and natural light. The bathrooms, designed in traditional Moroccan style, are hewn from stone, wood and marble, using local materials and craftsmanship. Chrome taps and shiny silver accessories contrast with the raw, rustic materials.
